The Project of "Professional Office Employees of the Future"

The European Union has announced the “The Grant Program for Supporting the Employment of Young People” in mid 2009. The main purpose of this program is determined as initially training our young people and subsequently providing jobs for them. 

The World Turkish Businessmen Foundation has been participated to this grant program with the “The Project of Expert Office Staff of Future” project to be implemented in Giresun and Ordu.

The following partner institutes have been included in the project with The World Turkish Businessmen Foundation as the applicant;

- Foundation for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Self-Employed People, and Administers of Turkey,

- Giresun Chamber of Commerce and Industry,

- Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The project has been accepted as a result of the examination process and the relative grant contract between Contracting Authority, T.R. Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury Central Finance & Contracting Unit and the Foundation for Small and Medium Sized

Enterprises, Self-Employed People, and Administers of Turkey has been signed on November 9th, 2010 and became effective at November 10th, 2010.

* The total period of the projects is 1 year between November 10th, 2010 and November 10th, 2011.  

- The first period of 4 months is for accepting the applications and selecting the participants.
- The subsequent period of 6 months is allocated for trainings (vocational education and vocational mentorship).
- The project outcomes shall be evaluated in the last two months.

The total number of participants to be selected is 100 (a hundred) where;

- 50 (fifty) of them shall be consisting of people living within Giresun province, and

- 50 (fifty) of them shall be consisting of people living within Ordu province, and

An allowance 8 EUR shall be provided each participant for every training day.  

A 10 % of the total project budget shall be compensated by the Foundation for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Self-Employed People, and Administers of Turkey.
